GetResponse Releases “Forms on the Go” — Hot New iPad App
New iPad app revolutionizes list building at in-person events.
Remember business card fishbowls at trade shows? Today, such old school list building techniques have been replaced by computers where visitors can sign up for future communications. But what about when the Wi-Fi signal is weak or absent? GetResponse, the leading email marketing SaaS provider, solves that problem with a brand new iPad app. Forms on the Go enables “walk-around” list building with or without a web connection — and no need to bring the visitor to the desktop computer, just whip out your iPad and start tapping.
"There are an estimated 100 million iPads in use," said Simon Grabowski, GetResponse CEO and founder. "Our new app gives highly mobile marketers a way to build their list while they are on the go in an easy, natural way."
GetResponse expects the app also to be popular in retail locations, business meetings, conferences and all types of networking events.
How “Forms On The Go” Works
Anyone with a GetResponse account and an iPad can download the app for free at iTunes. The user has the option of choosing an existing email marketing campaign as the default destination for new subscribers, or creating a separate campaign for each form created in the app.
Forms on the Go includes a growing collection of attractive web form templates, which can be customized with logo and company colors. Custom fields, text and images can be added with just a few taps, and an attractive thank-you page can be created for each form. "List building is an area that’s topmost in the minds of email marketers," said Mr. Grabowski. "Forms on the Go is an easy and friendly way to add in-person contacts to your marketing list."
